Chelsea have included Alvaro Morata in their bid for Juventus pair Gonzalo Higuain and Mattia Caldara.
Sportmediaset says negotiations between Chelsea and Juve intensified over the weekend, with the Blues tabling their latest formal proposal.
The bid is for €55m cash plus Morata in exchange for Higuain and Caldara.
And it’s suggested the proposal has been welcomed by Juve’s board with a deal now edging closer to a total agreement.
However, there is still some work to do with Higuain’s personal terms, as the Argentine is seeking a longer contract than Chelsea are currently willing to offer.
