Juventus have reportedly emerged as new contenders in the Antoine Griezmann transfer saga in a possible threat to Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
According to Don Balon, Juve could rival those big names in a move for the Atletico Madrid forward as a replacement for one of their own in-demand stars, Paulo Dybala.
Real Madrid are also among the clubs linked with Dybala, as per a recent Don Balon report, and Griezmann could be the perfect player to fill that void up front in Turin.
The France international has shone during his time in La Liga, scoring 141 goals in 377 games for both Real Sociedad and current club Atletico Madrid.
It remains to be seen if he would really opt for Serie A at this moment in time, when the lure of playing for one of Spain’s big two or moving to the more high-profile Premier League arguably looks more tempting.
Still, Juventus are a big name and have shown their ambition with increasingly big-name signings in recent years.
The Griezmann transfer would be another major statement if they could pull it off, with Don Balon suggesting the sale of Dybala would help them afford the 26-year-old’s £88million release clause.
